Ole married Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Brown on March 11, 1903.
Having spent his entire life in Lee county, Ole passed away on June 10, 1950 and was buried at the Union cemetery next to the Calvary Lutheran Church in northern Lee county.

Elizabeth was born October 21, 1882 to Martha and Albert Brown in Illinois. Lizzie died March 1970 in Lee, Illinois.
Ole was the eldest son born to Isabelle (Halvorson) and Lars Jordal.
