Sylvia Anna (Jordal) Oleson - burial

Sylvia Anna Oleson, granddaughter of Sigri Gunnersdatter and Ole Larson was the first child born to Anna (Larson Jossendal) and Gunder Jordal.    Sylvia was born September 29, 1894 in Milan township, DeKalb county, Illinois.

Sylvia married Gilbert Eugene Oleson on January 1, 1913 in Lee, Lee county, Illinois.  Gilbert was born July 10, 1885 to Elsie  'Elsa' (Johannsdatter) and Ole Olseon in Lee county, Illinois.   (Gilbert was the older brother of Bennie who had married Sylvia's cousin, Celia Jordal)

Sylvia passed away in December 1977 in Franklin Grove, Lee county, Illinois.  Gilbert passed away May 30, 1952 in DeKalb, DeKalb county, Illinois.   The Oleson's were buried at First Lutheran Cemetery in Lee county, Illinois.

Here is the 1930 US Census for Sylvia Oleson, granddaughter of Sigri Gunnersdatter and Ole Larson.

Sylvia was living in Arena township, Lac qui Parle county, Minnesota with husband Gilbert and their children, Ordine, Gordon, Stella, Minerville, Eugene, Edith and Howard.

Sylvia was the daughter of Anna (Jossendal) and Gunder Jordal.

Here is the 1920 US Census for two of Sigri Gunnersdatter and Ole Larson's grandchildren, Sylvia (Jordal) Oleson and her younger sister, Elizabeth Jordal.

Sylvia and Elizabeth were living in Cerro Gordo township, Lac Qui Parle county, Minnesota with Sylvia's husband, Gilbert Oleson and their children Ordine, Gordon, Stella and Minerville.
